Physiatry

Our Physiatrists (pronounced fizz-eye-a-trist) are medical doctors that specialize in the non-surgical treatment of neck and back pain.

The physicians utilize the patient history, perform a thorough physical evaluation and prescribe a treatment plan that is individualized for each patient's symptoms. Our physiatrists may use tools as X-rays, MRI's and other diagnostic tools to assist in the diagnosis of your condition.

Spine therapy may be utilized and is prescribed specifically for each patient's symptoms and diagnosis. When appropriate, physiatrists perform interventional spinal injections, such as an epidural steroid injection, and EMG/NCS (electromyography and nerve conduction studies).
